Plenty of preparers keep their prices in a drawer. Mine are printed here, because you shouldn’t need an appointment to find out whether you can afford one.
Personal returns
Most personal returns land between $180 and $420, filed electronically with your refund tracked until it arrives. Your exact number comes first — see the notes below the tables.

Small-business returns & books
For the shop, the LLC, the side business that got serious. If the books need work first, you get a written cleanup estimate before anything starts.

- “From” means complexity varies. After I look at last year’s return, you get one written number — before any work starts.
- If your situation is outside what I do, I’ll tell you at the first call and give you the name of someone good.
- Nothing ever bills by surprise.
